Church relevance had a great post a while back that is worth revisiting. They were talking about the elements that make up excellent children’s ministries. #1 – KNOW (Rules, Culture, & Science) #2 – IMPROVE (Yourself & the Ministry) #3 – DUPLICATE (Yourself) #4 – STICKINESS (Lessons & Relationships) All four of these can be

YouTube Friday: Yankees and Passion

3 Comments / November 6, 2009

I was listening to ESPN (usually in the Tank for the Red Sox) the other day, and the radio host made a comment that was very thought provoking. He said he thinks the argument that the Yankees win because they buy their championships, is a week argument. This made me turn the radio up what

I am glad you commented Jonathan. You are a perfect example of my post, because you are a very passionate fan. If more Rangers fan’s were as passionate as you your team would be much better because you would demand better.

The Yankees fans demand excellence almost to a micromanagement level.

    Passion + expectation = a win

Same in the church. We need to get more people passionate with high expectations and we’ll win.
