I want to write a couple posts about something I have been thinking about a lot lately.
What is better for kids staying in the sanctuary with their parents or attending a age appropriate worship service.
Pros of staying with parents:
Get to worship as a family
Parents can use the pastors sermon to bring application during the week
Kids are used to the environment of “Big Church”.
Cons of staying with parents:
Most churches don’t have children in mind when programing the weekend service
Kids are short and can’t see the words
Most parents don’t engage their kids in worship
Most kids play video games instead of entering into worship.
