I love New York. There are few places on earth that are quite like New York. It is rich in History, Good food, Sights, and Sarcasm.
I have had many people I know go to NYC and ask where is the best of everything in NY. I definitely don’t know New York like my best friend Mike, but hears my go at a best of NYC list. Oh and if you disagree with me I’ll kill ya.
Best Coffee – The Roasting Plant
Best Ice Cream – Grom (Gellato actually) honorable mention – The Ice King of Corona
Best Pizza – Hands down Lombardi’s (The Birthplace of Pizza), Rosa’s is a solid second choice.
Best Sights – Going out to Liberty Island or Going to Brooklyn Heights at dusk and getting an amazing view of the skyline.
Best Broadway Play – I am sorry to say I have never been to one but have Wicked and Les Miserables on the top of my list.
Best Breakfast – Norma’s
Best Street Vender Food – Roasted Nuts by far.
Best Empanada’s – Empanada’s Cafe
Best Italian Restaurants –
They Best By Far – Il Mulino
Remi – Venetian
Carmine’s – Family Style Italian Food
Best Bakery – Black Hound and Jacques Torres
Favorite thing to do – People watch, take photos of the amazing buildings and just walk around.
Best Advice to Non-NYers – Avoid eye contact on the subway, leave your Red Sox hat at home, Manhattan is safe at night but avoid Central Park after dark.
I love, love, love NY can’t wait to visit again soon.
Chicago is better!! The best pizza on the planet comes from the Windy City my friend. Come see us sometime. I guarantee it will be well worth the visit.
We also have very corrupt politicians.
Go White Sox!!
Wow, You did not go there. Well since you did, here we go. Chicago is known for thick(yuck) pizza and wind. Chicago doesn't touch NY not even close. You can not even compare architecture, food, culture, sights, historical landmarks.
I won't even mention sports teams *cough* 27 world championships *cough*
Ha! Bring it Josh. Chi town is and always will be the redhead step brother to NYC.

Ha-Ha. It sounds like we have a hater.
Let me ask you a question. The President of the United States is from what State? What baseball hat was he wearing when he threw out the first pitch at the All-Star game this year?
I had to go there.
I did not want to bring out the big guns this early but you forced my hand.
Sweet home Chicago!
Score:
Chicago – 2

Ha, not a hater at all. Actually most people in NYC don't hate people from Chicago (that would be Boston). They don't really think about Chicago, I guess you could say Chicago is irrelevant. Ha.
Score:
New York – 3
aaah oh Yea Chicago – 2
